Que Pasa at the Latina’s No.1
Hello friends! I have been wanting to incorporate a little more personal stuff on the blog and I have even done it sporadically over the past couple of years, however, I plan on making it a regular series and call it “Que pasa at the Latina’s?”
Since I have 3 kiddos and 2 blogs things can get a little hectic and while I may be super busy behind the scenes you might hear crickets on this end so I figured it would be kinda fun to share what goes on in our daily lives when I’m not doing a transformation.
And boy do I have some amazing news!
If you have been following me on Facebook (which you totally should), you probably already saw the image I shared below:
Well, with that image I shared that I have partnered with Sherwin Williams in order to complete several projects throughout our home this year and bring you some amazing tutorials!
I just completed my first project for them and while I cannot share just yet what it is, I can say that the post will go live in May and they totally loved it! It is the biggest transformation we have done to date and I could’t have partnered with a better paint company to do it with!
More details coming soon!
Also, if you have followed me for a bit, you know that I totally love shopping on Craigslist. I got my dining chairs (that I reupholstered) on Craigslist, my china cabinet which I was able to restore, and even my King bed that I painted to match the rest of my bedroom furniture.
Well, I just scored another beauty!!! And you won’t believe how much it cost!
I scored this china hutch for only $65 and it is in pristine condition!
Plus, the best part was that I only had to clean it with Pledge and it was ready to go! Sometimes the stars align perfectly and you find that perfect piece on Craigslist. And we have been pretty fortunate to have had great experiences so far with both buying and selling.
Now I have to make sure the rest of the breakfast area coordinates with it. Which means more projects!!! Woot woot!
Then as far as family, my oldest daughter has been taking modeling classes and she is close to finishing her school which is really exciting. I have seen her blossom and it’s so great to see her gain confidence since she can be really shy.
Here are a couple of images. The left was in the beginning and you can tell she was still a little shy. The right was further along and you can see she is starting to get a little more confident.

My son has been enjoying playing soccer and we just ordered his pictures, so as soon as we get those in I will share too! It is really hard to get him to sit still during pictures so I hope they come out good.
And finally my littlest, well…. she’s a hot little mess! It seems like it was just yesterday that we brought her home and now she will be 2 years old next month! Time flies!
And that’s it for this week’s updates! I’ll be sharing more behind-the-scenes and updates soon!
