Monthly Round Up – May 2017 

Hey there friends! I cannot believe I totally forgot to post this at the beginning of the month! In case you are just now getting to read my blog, I usually put a round up post of all my posts for the previous month in case you missed one or are just coming across my blog for the first time.

So here is what went down…

1. The Best Steak Tacos –

Do you have some parties coming up? Cause I shared our favorite steak taco recipe perfect for summer grill outs with family and friends. You will need this pico de gallo to make them just right.

2. The Best Strawberry Mojito –

Of course what are amazing steak tacos without an amazing cocktail? They’re good, but this spin on the classic mojito makes those tacos taste even better. They are my  favorite and I am sure after trying they will be your’s too.

3. Monthly Round Up for April –

Obviously I did my round up post for the month before (that one was on time, but hey, nobody’s perfect ?). This was where I shared my first testimonial for my detox smoothie.

 

4. Kitchen BEFORE Post –

I share my BEFORE pictures of my outdated kitchen before I gave them a huge makeover. It was pretty bad.

5. How to Paint Kitchen Cabinets –

Then, with the help of Sherwin Williams I was able to make a huge impact with the transformation of my kitchen and now I love it so much more! I walk you through the entire process by step in case you have ever put thought into doing this yourself.

6. Que Pasa #2

I have my second “Que Pasa at the Latina’s” post where I share what;s going on behind the scenes. And this time one of the things I talked about was my new logo!

 

Cassandra at The Girl Brand did such an amazing job! If you ever need a logo or rebranding of your blog check her out. She is extremely thorough and super patient! She will make sure you walk away super happy and I couldn’t recommend her enough!

7. How to Keep Your Home Stylish & Organized When You Have Small Children –

This month I also got together with 15 other amazing bloggers to get your design questions answered. “How to keep your home stylish and organized?” was my questions and each one of us took our turns giving our best tips.

Plus each blogger had their own question that they would have answered on their blog. So check them out and see if one of your burning questions was answered. It was so much fun!

 

8. Lastly, I started a YouTube Channel!

I wrote this post on making felt flowers and uploaded it as my first video on Youtube. I actually did this as a guest post for my friend Pat at P.S. I love you Crafts.  You can check out her post or watch my video on YouTube!  Don’t forget to subscribe to my channel for eve more fun!

Hello friends! I know this post is a little late, but alas here it is! If you are new to The Latina Next Door I started doing a roundup post for all of my projects for the previous month in case you subscribe in the middle of the month and happen to have missed out on some.

So here’s a quick overview at what I blogged about real quick this past April.

1. Lose 8 pounds in 2 weeks with these Detox smoothies –

I have a few more I will be adding, and I am a little behind, but if you are just joining I share the exact recipe for one of the best smoothies I use to lose weight quickly (cause you know, bathing suit season is already here… yikes!). The coolest part is that I already got my first testimonial (see below) so I know I am not the only one it works on!

I shared how to make literally the easiest farmhouse sign since sometimes you just can find what you’re looking for online OR sometimes it’s too expensive. All you need is some reclaimed wood and some letters. So easy!

Now that March is over and Spring is in full swing here with Georgia, I decided to do a quick recap of all of my posts in March before we head on with the new content for the month.

So here is a quick recap in case you missed any of my posts in the month of March.

FIVE: And my last post was about the Kid-safe and removable wall decals I used for my baby’s nursery.

Hello! Can you believe it is already April? Time is flying by! I would have posted this yesterday, but I stayed up WAY too late watching the completely intense season finale of The Walking Dead and then Talking Dead! There aren’t many shows out there that I watch… cause, ain’t nobody got time for that! BUT, I do make it a point to enjoy TWD and Fixer Upper each once a week. Hey now, this mama works hard and sometimes you just need a respite…Now, that both shows have concluded their seasons, I will have to settle for just Fear The Walking Dead.

I’m sure you’re seeing a trend here……Carol has shown me you could be a homemaker and a badass at the same time. 

Today, I am posting my round up for the month of March. It was a bit slower this past month, but I plan on picking it up a little more in April.

1. First I shared my tutorial on how to repair granite! Yes, you can do it yourself. I show you what you need and exactly how to do it here. I even included a dresser makeover, so I guess this kinda counts as 2 posts in 1.
2. The next post was about setting your Easter Table on a budget. In this post I actually share how you can apply simple rules to make setting a table for any occasion easier on the budget. You can check out that post here.
3. Then I shared my powder bathroom’s before pictures. It was pretty BLAH when we bought the house. They aren’t pretty pictures, but you can see what it used to look like here.
4. And last, I shared the after pictures of my bathroom remodel. I show you our process for installing an entire wall of backsplash taking into account working around a sink. Check out the afters here!

I hope you enjoyed the few but informative posts this past month. Can’t wait to get back at it again.

Can you believe it’s March already? The older I get the faster these months go. My parents weren’t kidding! But since February’s over, this can only mean one thing, another round up of all my posts from the previous month.

And of course beer, cause St. Patrick’s Day is around the corner….. did you think I’d leave that out???

So February…..It was actually a pretty busy month, which is probably why it went so fast! I was proud to have a nice little combination of things to share so as to not let things get boring. This was definitely my most engaging month so far. I exceeded my goal for website views which was frickin’ awesome and received lots of feedback from my regular readers which really do mean the world to me. SERIOUSLY. From the bottom of my heart, thank you! It means so much that you actually take the time to read all the stuff I come up with and do around the casa. With that said, here are those awesome posts in case you missed out.

Oh, and I realized that I actually put in one of my February’s projects in January’s round up, but I still included it here cause my baby girl is so stinking cute!
