We have BIG news to share

Hello familia!  I hope you are enjoying your November so far. I cannot believe Thanksgiving is already next week. We don’t have any plans for the holiday as we have so much to do at the farmhouse. We are actually working again this weekend trying to get all of the electrical completed.

It has taken so much longer than we anticipated, but Nelson can only do so much with his time after he’s done with work every day. And now that daylight savings time is in effect, it gets dark at around 4:30pm where we live. Ugh. 

We are so close though!!!! 

If we can get insulation and drywall done in December we will be golden for the new year. I cannot wait to get started on the interior of the home. The sooner I can get that started, the sooner I can finish it.

We still have a little more to catch up on in regards to the “Building a Farmhouse” episodes and we are working on those as quickly as possible, however, I wanted to get this news out to you now so you know what to expect once the drywall goes up. 

I have been hinting for a while now in my videos, that have we been working on something behind the scenes and that we cannot wait until we are able to share it with you all. 

Well, my friends the time is now! 

We shared the news in our latest Youtube video and it’s all about our newest brand partnership and what that will entail and how that will affect our build. Frankly, it is very exciting for us and this is going to make our experience with our very first build an even more amazing one. 

We are lucky to be partnering with Home Outlet for the interior of our build and we will be focusing on several rooms. If you recall, I used their services back when I did the small cottage kitchen and we absolutely love how it turned out. Nelson and I installed the cabinets ourselves, but they helped us with the entire layout of the kitchen and they made the process super easy. 

Fast forward a few months later, and I am now officially their Brand Ambassador. I am honored at this opportunity and I cannot wait to share everything I am about to do to finish out the interior of the home.
