Hello friends! I hope you all are enjoying this wonderful season! The change in weather has been great and cozying up by the fire has been a regular thing nowadays. Oh how these days bring joy to my heart. I hope you are enjoying them too.
I have another really easy DIY for you today and a freebie!
I am sure you have seen the clear plastic ornaments from Dollar Tree. These are perfect to create beautiful custom ornaments for your decor.
I had several of these on hand so I decided to use them so that I can add new ornaments to my decor this year in my new color scheme.
First, I added some acrylic paint in the inside of the ornament. I chose a midnight blue color.
I moved the ornament around until the paint covered the entire inside and poured out any excess paint.

As those dried, I created a few words in Cricut Design Space. You can download the SVG for these from my free printables library.
I used permanent gold vinyl to cut these words out.
And then I applied them onto the ornaments.
I added some ribbon and then hung them up! Super easy!
You would never guess these came from Dollar Tree.
The best part is that you can customize the color of the ornament. You can dd your family names, use another vinyl color and/or use different kinds of ribbon to suit your style. The possibilities here are endless.
