Okay, so now that I have your attention you are definitely going to watch closely…
I made a complete step by step video that you will enjoy (while sipping your coffee, or eggnog, or Coquito – I won’t judge?)
The main components of the stocking hangers are gift boxes from Dollar Tree and the metal wreath hangers they are currently selling with the Christmas items.
>>>Oh and by the way Dollar Tree is having flat rate $1 SHIPPING from Dec. 14th to Dec. 17th so if you do not have one near you THIS is the time to shop! Go here NOW! <<<
And yes, I totally weighted them down so they are fully functional…. can you guess what I used?
They are the perfect blend of function and style. I love their perfect farmhouse vibe and the fact that they go great with the stockings I made earlier this year.
Now without further ado…. I leave you with the tutorial below!
Oh and don’t forget to pin this and share it with your friends!

These are awesome!!! Yes, one would never know they were a dollar tree craft. They look very high end. Love this idea! Wishing you a Merry Christmas 🙂
Those turn out so elegant! No one would ever know that they started out as Dollar Tree boxes.
They are so elegant and beautiful. Such an easy project too and affordable. I like the idea of customizing to match my own decor. No, they do not look like a Dollar Tree finished product. They look high end.
I love the way these turned out, great idea and fabulous tutorial! Making Dollar Tree things look high end is always a fun goal, you nailed it.
Wow! Your stocking hangers are super cute. I need these!
The tutorial video really helps. It’s very nice. I like the idea you put and it matches my taste. Thanks for sharing.
I think these are so cute! I saw it on YouTube (and it may have been yours, because I follow you), and I saved it to try next year!
Love your site, great stuff.
These are just as cute as you are!
Thank you! You’re so sweet! Glad you liked these ??
Thank you for the inspiration, I’m very pleased with how mine turned out
Can you tell me what kind of glue you used on the hook? I couldn’t make it out on the video. Thanks!
I used a combination of E6000 and hot glue. They are still holding up well two years later.
