Happy Tuesday! Today I am excited that I get to join in on another amazing blog hop with 24 other talented bloggers. As you may already know, my first time joining was this summer when Kendra over at Joy In Our Home invited me for the Summer Blog Hop. I decorated and shared my coastal mantle decor for it at the time.

This time we have another great line-up and today I am sharing my Neutral Farmhouse Fall Tablescape… with some seriously inexpensive items and some fun DIY’s.

But before I start, below is an overview of what is being shared this week.

Don’t forget to head to the end of my post so you know which blog to head over to next and see the rest of the line-up for this week!

As for my table…  I always remembered my mom having our dinner table set up perfectly for each season and I always wondered why. Now that I have my own home I can tell you it is so much fun to put these together and when I am done, a huge sense of satisfaction fills me and I feel so proud that I was able to create something so beautiful for such a fun occasion.

Thanks mom. I understand.

Now, I will say one thing I was never really into (unlike mom) was tablecloths. I find them to be unnecessary, too long and just outdated. However, there is something nice about going to an expensive restaurant with white linens on the tables.

So I decided to try my own hand at making one (that I would like of course). And I came up with this sweet version below.

It’s short and fits my table perfectly. And the cute ruffles give it that sweet country/farmhouse style.

Like it?

No worries! I will be sharing how you can make for yourself soon!

As for the place setting…. I have 2 words…. Dollar Tree.

Yup!

The white charger, the gray plate and the pumpkin were all from Dollar Tree. I actually used those chargers in my rustic glam Christmas table setting from last year.

The plates are new at Dollar Tree right now. That pumpkin was not so pretty. They used to look like this:

So I spray painted them in the same color I spray-painted my DIY Dollar Tree Buffalo Check Tray…. Rustoleum’s Metallic Series spray paint in Vintage Copper.

The napkins were from my mom (thanks mom!) and the striped fabric charger underneath the white charger I sewed just like the ones I did in this tutorial.

The water glasses were also from Dollar Tree, gosh I love that store!

Tip: If you like any of these Dollar Tree products, but haven’t seen them in your store, you can order them online and have them shipped to your store for FREE!

Recognize that little stand the white center pumpkin is on?

Yep, that was another one of my DIY’s. You can make one yourself here.

The candles and candlesticks were again from Dollar Tree. I got really lucky with those candles, they are the perfect color to match my pumpkins.

The greenery was a mix from Wal Mart and Dollar Tree and the pumpkins were accumulated over the years.

I am totally loving the grey and copper colors I picked this year. It seemed like a crazy color combo, but I think it totally works!

The entire table works with the new colors of my keeping room.

I will also be sharing my keep room transformation very soon!

  1. Beautiful! I, too, love Dollar Tree. Every month I spend about 10$ and send my granddaughter things to decorate her dad’s den. She always looks forward to her “box”. She’said only 6 but is really into decorating. Your gray/copper mix is very pretty added to your neutrals. Love your tablecloth.

  2. Yami, this is gorgeous! I love how you added the pops of antique copper along with the slate gray. It’s a beautiful combination. I can’t get over how many things you’ve found from the dollar store that is so cool. I need to check that place out! Hugs, CoCo

  3. I’ve been wanting one of those table cloths for like forever! It’s the cutest thing since you and the color pink! But instead of a tutorial, can I just send you some money and you ship me one you made? I can? Oh thanks! Just an fyi, our table is oval. :0

  5. Hi Yami! Yes, I love fitted tablecloths! I don’t sew very much so I hope it’s as easy as you say…I’ll be watching for the tutorial. Your table setting is beautiful. I love Dollar Tree tables. It really is amazing what you can find there and put together with a little imagination and DIY.

Happy to be on this tour with you. I see so much on your blog that I need to read. 🙂

  6. This is so pretty!! I love the fitted tablecloth and I think it would work much better with my family (my tablecloth is always getting messed up, lol). I love that you spray painted the pumpkins too, great idea!

  7. I love your neutral fall tablescape! The vintage copper spray painted pumpkins look so chic! I didn’t know about that shade so I will have to pick up a can.
